Archived Mid-Atlantic Upgrades: Liberty, Roundtop and Whitetail

Vail Resorts published an archived preseason update for its Mid-Atlantic mountains as Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, and Whitetail Resort prepared for the 2023-24 ski season.
At Roundtop, Vail says the resort installed four HKD Impulse snowmaking guns on Exhibition Slope, replaced snowmaking pipeline on Fife and Drum, and expanded the upper parking lot. Whitetail is also emphasizing snowmaking and winter preparation as the Pennsylvania resorts head toward the new season.
The upgrades are worth watching because snowmaking reliability and early-season conditions matter especially in the Mid-Atlantic, where natural snowfall can vary substantially from year to year.
