Vail Adds Concierge-Style Private Lessons at Vail and Beaver Creek—Another Premium Layer on the Mountain

Vail Resorts is adding another premium layer to the guest experience at Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek.

For the 2026-27 season, private ski and snowboard lessons at the two resorts will be packaged as 'Epic Ascent,' with concierge-style support, personalized planning and enhanced access built into the lesson experience.

Vail says the program will not raise private-lesson prices beyond normal inflation and that groups of up to six people can use the same booking.

For some guests, the added service may be appealing. But it also highlights a broader divide in modern resort skiing: the people willing and able to pay for premium products increasingly receive a different experience from everyone else.

That is worth watching at a company already facing criticism over pricing, pass strategy and the growing commercialization of the mountain experience.
