About This Site / How We Report
Updated: Oct 6
Vail Resorts Sucks is an independent website for ski news, sourced reporting, and firsthand skier and snowboarder experiences involving Vail Resorts, Epic Pass, and Vail-operated resorts.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Vail Resorts, Inc.
How we report
We try to distinguish documented facts from allegations, opinion, and personal experience. When information comes from another person, publication, court filing, public record, review, social-media post, or other source, we try to identify and link that source clearly.
An allegation remains an allegation unless it has been established by a court or other authoritative finding. When Vail Resorts or another relevant party has publicly responded to or disputed a material claim, we aim to include that response when it is reasonably available and relevant.
Community posts and comments
Comments, posts, and personal experiences reflect the views of the people who submit them. We do not endorse every statement or claim made by contributors, and we do not automatically treat personal experiences or opinions as independently verified facts.
We ask contributors to share truthful firsthand experiences and honestly held opinions and not to post knowingly false factual claims, threats, harassment, impersonation, private personal information, spam, or unlawful content.
Accuracy and corrections
We aim to be fair, accurate, and willing to correct factual errors. If a material factual statement is wrong or important context is missing, readers can contact us and identify the specific page, statement, and supporting information.
Consumer reviews
The Consumer Review Fairness Act protects consumers’ ability to share honest opinions about products, services, and businesses in covered circumstances, subject to applicable law. Nothing on this site encourages fabricated experiences, knowingly false factual statements, harassment, or unlawful conduct.
Trademarks and independence
Vail Resorts®, Epic Pass®, and related names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. References to company and resort names are used for identification, reporting, commentary, and discussion.
Legal matters
Descriptions of lawsuits, investigations, complaints, arbitration proceedings, or other legal disputes are informational summaries. Filing a claim does not establish that the claim is true, and outcomes can change through later rulings, settlements, dismissals, appeals, or other developments.
Nothing on this site is legal advice.
